Description
Organic/Bio Bhringraj Powder Bhringraj Powder is made from Eclipta prostrata (also known as Eclipta alba), a plant long used in traditional wellness and beauty routines. The powder is vegan, gluten-free and certified bio-organic, with a mild earthy, herbal flavour. Commonly used in homemade hair and face masks, or stirred into drinks. Suggested portion: 1 teaspoon (5 g) per day. Nutritional information per 5 g portion: 15 kcal, carbohydrates 3 g, protein 1 g, fibre 1 g, iron 15% DV, vitamin E 10% DV. Simple ideas: blend 1 tsp with a banana, 1 cup almond milk and 1 tbsp agave syrup for a smoothie; stir 1 tsp into hot water with honey for a herbal tea; or mix 2 tsp with 1 tbsp yogurt and 1 tsp honey, apply to hair, leave for 30 minutes and rinse. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep sealed. Leftover or expired powder can be composted or used as a garden fertiliser.
