Organic Dandelion Leaf Powder, 100g Made from carefully selected dandelion leaves (Taraxacum spp.), this powder is bio-organic, vegan and gluten-free. It has a mild, earthy flavour with a subtle bitterness and blends easily into soups, salads, smoothies and herbal teas. It is also a popular ingredient in homemade cosmetics. Nutritional facts (per 1 tbsp, 7g): 15 calories, 0g total fat, 3g carbohydrates, 2g dietary fibre, 1g protein, vitamin A 110% DV, vitamin C 5% DV, vitamin K 200% DV, iron 5% DV, calcium 2% DV. Suggested use: add 1 to 2 teaspoons (5 to 10g) to smoothies, salads or soups. For a tea, stir 1 teaspoon into a cup of hot water and sweeten with honey if desired. For a face mask, mix 1 teaspoon with 1 teaspoon of honey and a few drops of water, apply for 15 minutes, then rinse. Prepare cosmetic mixtures fresh and discard any leftovers. Storage: keep in a cool, dry place. Do not use the product after the expiry date; dispose of expired powder responsibly.
