Description
Organic Barley Flour. Available in 500g and 1kg. Milled from organic barley (Hordeum vulgare), this flour has a mild, nutty, earthy flavour and a fine texture. It is fully plant-based and suitable for vegan diets. Contains gluten. Use it in baking for bread, muffins, cookies and pastries, or mix it with water as a binding agent in place of eggs in vegan recipes. It can also be combined with water, and honey if desired, to make a simple exfoliating face paste. Recipe ideas: vegan pancakes with almond milk, baking powder, maple syrup and vanilla extract; energy bites made with nut butter, honey, dried fruit and nuts, kept refrigerated for up to two weeks. Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.
