Description
Organic Garlic Flakes, 100g. Certified organic, bio certified and non-GMO. Made from garlic, these flakes are used to flavor and season a wide range of dishes. Garlic contains sulphur compounds such as thiosulfinates, sulfoxides and dithiins, which give it its characteristic pungent aroma. It also provides vitamins B6 and C, thiamine and pantothenic acid, along with minerals including manganese, calcium, phosphorus, iron, zinc and selenium, plus some dietary fiber. Uses: pickles, curry powder, curried vegetables, and as a flavoring in soups and sauces. Garlic can also be used to make garlic salt, garlic vinegar, garlic cheese and croutons.
