Organic-Bio Genmaicha Tea, 50g Genmaicha, also known as brown rice tea, is a traditional Japanese blend of green tea (Camellia sinensis) and roasted brown rice. Imported from Japan. Its flavor combines fresh green tea with the nutty, popcorn-like aroma of roasted rice, and it can be enjoyed hot or cold. Ingredients: green tea (Camellia sinensis), roasted brown rice. Contains natural caffeine. Uses: brewed as a hot or iced tea, or as a flavoring ingredient in dishes and desserts. Nutrition (per 240ml cup): 30 calories, 7g carbohydrates, 1g protein, 0g fat, vitamin C 12% DV, manganese 15% DV. Suggested serving: 1 to 2 cups daily (240ml to 480ml). Recipe, Vegan Genmaicha Chia Pudding: brew 2 cups of Genmaicha and let cool. Mix with 1 cup of chia seeds and 2 tablespoons of agave or maple syrup. Refrigerate for 4 hours until set and serve chilled. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
