Organic Regular Oats (Finland), 500g Made from Avena sativa, these organic oats are grown to high standards of quality and purity. Entirely plant-based, they suit vegan and environmentally conscious shoppers. Oats are a source of dietary fibre, vitamin B1 (thiamine), magnesium and iron. Uses: prepare as porridge, add to smoothies, or use in energy bars, baking and homemade snacks. Simple recipe ideas: Oatmeal: Combine 1 cup oats with 2 cups almond milk. Cook on low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, then stir in 2 tbsp maple syrup and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Serve warm with your favourite toppings. Oat energy balls: Mix 1 cup oats, 1/2 cup almond butter, 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup, 1/2 cup chopped nuts and 1/4 cup dried fruit. Roll into small balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
