It has a gentle sweetness, a delicate floral flavour and a thick, pourable texture that suits both sweet and savoury dishes. Product features: organic, sourced from environments free from synthetic additives and pesticides. Naturally gluten free. Contains natural glucose from flower and herb nectar. Uses: add to teas, cereals, yoghurt and baked goods, or use in homemade skincare recipes such as a honey and oat facial scrub. Nutritional information per portion, 1 tablespoon (approx. 21g): calories 64, carbohydrates 17g, protein 0g, fats 0g, manganese 2% DV, iron 1% DV. Suggested portion: 1 to 2 tablespoons (21g to 42g). Recipe ideas: Honey and almond energy balls: 1 cup rolled oats, 2 tablespoons flower honey, 1/2 cup almond butter, 1/2 cup flaxseed meal, 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips. Mix, roll into balls and refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Honey and peanut butter spread: 1/2 cup peanut butter, 2 tablespoons flower honey, a pinch of salt.
