Intensely aromatic with a sweet, warm flavour and a hint of citrus, it suits both savoury dishes and desserts. Features: Organic, grown without artificial chemicals. Vegan and gluten-free. Uses: Season savoury and sweet dishes, or add to tea and coffee for an aromatic note. Nutritional facts per 1 tsp (5g) serving: Calories 18, Carbohydrates 4.4g, Protein 0.6g, Fat 0.4g, Iron 13% DV, Magnesium 7% DV. Suggested portion: 1 tsp (5g). Recipe ideas: Cardamom latte with 1 cup almond milk, 1/2 tsp cardamom powder and 1 tsp agave syrup. Heat the milk, stir in the cardamom and sweetener, and serve warm. Cardamom energy balls with 1 cup dates, 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 tbsp chia seeds and 1/2 tsp cardamom powder. Blend, shape into balls and refrigerate for up to one week.
