Natural Efe Kala Namak Black Salt, 250g Kala Namak, or black salt, is an unrefined volcanic rock salt from Pakistan, known for its distinctive sulfurous aroma and tangy taste. It undergoes a traditional heating process that gives it its characteristic dark colour and pungent flavour. It naturally contains minerals such as iron. Uses: Season chutneys, salads, fruit, and savoury snacks, or add to Indian dishes such as chaat, raita, and pickles. Its egg-like aroma also makes it popular in vegan cooking, including tofu scrambles and plant-based egg salads. Suggested serving: 1 gram (about 1/4 teaspoon). Use sparingly.
