Organic Black & Hulled Sesame Seed Tahini Blend. Available in 185g, 500g and 1kg. A stone-ground blend of 50% black sesame and 50% hulled white sesame seeds. Made from organically farmed, non-GMO seeds, with no additives or preservatives. Gluten-free and suitable for vegan and vegetarian diets. The traditional stone-grinding process gives the tahini a smooth, creamy texture and a balanced, earthy, mildly nutty flavour. Uses: spread on toast, crackers or pita; as a base for salad dressings, hummus and dips; stirred into smoothies; drizzled over roasted vegetables; or in baking such as cookies, brownies and sesame halva. Suggested serving: 1 to 2 tablespoons (approximately 20 to 40g). Nutritional information per 100g: Calories 593 kcal, Total Fat 54g, Saturated Fat 4g, Sodium 40mg, Total Carbohydrates 20g, Dietary Fibre 12g, Sugars 0g, Protein 19g. Storage: store in a cool, dry place or refrigerate after opening. Oil separation is natural; simply stir it back in. Discard if the product develops a rancid smell or off taste. Contains sesame.
