Description
Organic Arrowroot Powder. Weight: 200g / 1kg. Arrowroot powder is derived from the root of the tropical plant Maranta arundinacea. It has a neutral, almost tasteless profile, making it ideal for thickening sauces, soups and gravies without altering the flavour of your dishes. Its fine texture blends smoothly, and it can be used as a substitute for cornstarch or wheat flour. The product is plant-based and gluten-free. Usage: use approximately 1 tablespoon (15g) per cup of liquid to reach the desired thickness. It can also be used in baking, in desserts such as coconut milk pudding, or in no-bake energy balls with nut butter, oats and cocoa. For external cosmetic use, a small amount can be applied to dry hair roots as a dry shampoo and brushed out. Storage: keep in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.
