Description
Organic Quinoa Flour. Available in 500g and 1kg. Milled exclusively from Chenopodium quinoa, with no additives or preservatives. Quinoa originates from the Andean region of South America, where it has been cultivated for thousands of years. The flour has a mild, nutty flavour and is naturally gluten-free and suitable for vegan diets. Use it as a 1:1 substitute for wheat flour in pancakes, waffles, bread and pastries, or stir it into soups, stews and sauces for a smooth texture. Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. Simple recipe, vegan quinoa pancakes: combine 1 cup quinoa flour, 1 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp salt, then stir in 1 cup almond milk, 1 tbsp maple syrup and 1 tsp vanilla extract until smooth. Cook as you would regular pancakes and serve with fresh fruit or your preferred toppings.
