Organic Wheat Flour. Available in 500g and 1kg. Milled from the endosperm of wheat grains into a fine powder, this flour contains the proteins glutenin and gliadin, which form gluten. This elastic network traps the carbon dioxide released by leavening agents such as yeast or baking powder, giving baked goods their structure and texture. Beyond baking, wheat flour is widely used to thicken soups and sauces, to coat foods before frying, and to make pasta and noodles. Grown using organic farming practices, without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Allergen notice: contains wheat and gluten. Not suitable for people with gluten intolerance or coeliac disease.
